As a part of the Innovation Ecosystem Creation project, DGFEZ held the Policy Development Research Council on July 18. The council was accompanied by approx 20 people from Pohang TechnoPark, K-Medihub, Daegu Main Customs, etc.
Due to changes in the global trade environment and reorganization of overseas supply chains, causing export difficulties for Korean exporters and overseas customs clearance have increased.
Accordingly, it is necessary to expand cooperation with customs, maximize the use of data from the Korea Customs Service, and strengthen support for exporters to resolve difficulties in exporting companies and revitalize the local economy.

- Expanding support for regional specialized industries (automobile, textile, medical) through collaboration with local governments and related organizations
- Discover and share policy tasks using import and export data of the Korea Customs Service and expand participation in customs
- Strengthening support for resolving difficulties in overseas customs due to changes in the global trade environment
