The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (DGFEA) held the "Gyeongsan Knowledge Industrial District Innovation Ecosystem Knowledge Forum" at Kyungil University on December 2.

The forum was held under the theme of "Seed of Innovation in Free Economic Zone, Innovation Ecosystem in Gyeongsan District." Starting with the agreement ceremony, the Gyeongsan Knowledge Industry District Innovation Ecosystem Council (hereinafter referred to as the Innovation Council), which was launched last year, and the Gyeongil University Self-driving Shuttle Bus Demonstration Center.

At the business agreement ceremony, nine organizations, including DGFEZA, Gyeongsan Institute of Industrial and Industrial Economics, Kyungil University, Daegu Catholic University, Hosan University, Kumho Industrial High School, Daegu Ilmeister High School and Muhak High School, signed an cooperation agreement.

The Industrial-Academic Cooperation Business Agreement shall mainly include cooperation in the operation of professional human resources training programs for enterprises in Gyeongsan district, support for youth employment promotion, joint use of industrial-academic equipment, technology exchanges, and technology development.

The agreement is expected to promote employment if companies and schools cooperate in technology training, internships, and recruitment, and to strengthen the technological competitiveness of companies and universities through joint research and technology development.

The meeting of the Innovation Council will share the achievements and future plans of the Gyeongsan Knowledge Innovation Ecosystem, and discuss the roles and mutual cooperation of 14 institutions of the Council members.
