On November 5, a briefing session was held online for members of the Kansai Pharmaceutical Association of Japan to attract investment from Japanese companies in the medical/bio sector, which is the main attraction of the Gyeongsan Knowledge Industry Zone/Pohang Convergence Technology Industrial Zone/Yeongcheon High Tech Park District in DGFEZ.

Due to the influence of Corona 19, the briefing session, which was held in the form of a non-face-to-face online (using the ZOOM program), drew a lot of attention as 300 corporate officials from the medical/biology sector in the region participated.

Based on the plan of Pohang Bio Medical Smart City by Hanmi Science Co., Ltd., which signed an agreement to move into Pohang Convergence Technology Industrial District on June 15, Daegu-Gyeongbuk's investment environment in the medical and bio-industry sector was introduced.
It was composed of the current status of the medical industry, the introduction of bio companies, and the announcement of trends in Korean pharmaceutical administration, and introduced the attractiveness of the medical and bio-industry sector in Daegu and Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone.
