- The world’s first investment session with AR/VR platform was held successfully at Daegu National Science Museum on 3rd of October, 2020.

- DGFEZ created concrete network with board members of Korea VR·AR Industry Association (hereinafter KOVRA) including Korea Telecome (KT) to promote Suseong Medical District for bringing VR R&D Centre and hosted online investment session with 40 companies from Seoul Metropolitan and Daegu-Gyeongbuk region.

- VR studio was set up at the venue to invite 9 companies (4 domestic companies, 5 foreign investors) to virtual IR pitching room and proceeded IR pitching in there. It captured the attention of participants and press as it was compelling trial under the era of untact environment. DGFEZ expects USD 400 million investment if the pitching obtain the interest from foreign investors.

- Sam Ryong Choi, the commissioner of DGFEZ stated “We expect this new challenge using AR/VR technology tried by DGFEZ will shift the paradigm of investment session during covid-19 and as a result, I have to say that it was more active and vivid comparing to existing online session. We expect this will be pioneer of untact investment session after all and we will closely follow up and communicate with participated companies for practical outcome.”
