DGFEZ, Supports tenant companies to develop overseas markets!

The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority held a two-day video export consultation conference for Thailand and Indonesia on May 30 (Monday) and 31 (Tue) to support developing overseas markets for tenant companies that have been contracted by COVID-19.

The export consultation meeting was held in three way real-time video conference between overseas buyers, participating companies, and interpreters. And it was participated by 10 companies in the free economic zone and 70 overseas buyers from Thailand and Indonesia.

By actively promoting the technology and excellence of local companies' products through counseling sessions, an opportunity to enter the Thailand and Indonesian markets was made.
Local companies in Thailand and Indonesia who participated in the event showed high interest in various products such as medical devices, cosmetics, water quality improvement systems, smart parking control systems, and outdoor fabrics.

Since June last year, the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority has held three video export consultations conference with Malaysia, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam to provide tenant companies the foundation for entering into the local market such as China, Central Asia, and Vietnam.  
Furthermore, DGFEZ plans to send a trade delegation directly overseas in October to secure new trading lines and ensure stable sales in order to support the tenant companies to go abroad.
