Support resident companies in Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone to leap forward

Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority held a ‘2022 investment conference for supporting DGFEZ tenant companies at the Hotel Inter-Burgo on September 2nd with more than 70 business officials attending.

In this conference, Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone prepared a venue for IR and networking, which introduced its tenant companies and promoted their core technologies to the relevant investors, along with Pohang Technopark and Gyeongbuk Gyeongsan educational-industrial convergence institute, which would lead to investment attraction.

Accordingly, 9 companies with investment demand presented their core technologies and ideas, and as a result, 2 companies in Pohang Fusion Tech District received the confirmation of investment that is worth of KRW 3.8 billion from investors.

‘TWON’, a plastic nano filter technology development company in Pohang Fusion Tech District, is expected to revitalize itself by receiving investments worth 3.1 KRW, and "Signal Care," an assorted feed manufacturing and feed-tech company in the same district, is expected to receive 700 million KRW.

Yoon Jinwon, a deputy commissioner of Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority said, “We will regularly hold this kind of investment conference to create an investment environment for local companies and will try to provide more supports for them that can leap into potential global companies”
