
Ada Co., Ltd., an Auto Part FDI Company, Began Its Production in Earnest
- Increased production volume and new jobs created -
Ada Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Joongwon, China located in Yeongcheon High-end Materials Industrial Complex which is a part of Daegu Free Economic Zone completed its factory expansion and began its production of auto parts (pillars).
The opening ceremony which took place on Nov. 16, 2017 was attended by more than 200 guests including businessmen, researchers, and others from the automobile industry.
Ada completed its first factory in the end of last year and has been running the plan.
And, they now expanded their production facility (6,973㎡) to establish a mass-production system.
Ada has established a basis to lead the future of the automobile industry with their new technology to reduce the weight of auto parts through the two new technologies of hot forming and TWB process.
The parts and materials to be used in production are mostly procured from South Korean suppliers, including local companies.
Therefore, as the production gains momentum, it is expected that more jobs will be created and the local economy will be invigorated, contributing to the development of the local economy.
Ms. Inseon Lee, the Commissioner of DGFEZ asked for “preoccupying the future core material technology and enhancement of the traits of the part materials and the companies to gain global competitiveness”, adding “We will keep working on inducing FDI companies and providing follow-up services for them.”
