Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority was awarded a leadership prize in Management Awards 2015 held by TV Chosun on July 22, 2015.

DGFEZA (Gunwoo Do, Commissioner) improved its work efficiency and strengthened its customer service through reorganization, which contributed highly to quick decision-making and responsibility enhancement. DGFEZA also formed the basis of Asia's leading medical tourism cluster by signing an MOU with Joslin Diabetes Center to navigate avenues for potential partnership.

Management Awards 2015 by TV Chosun awarded businesses and organizations that had created new management value in the most important aspects of today’s management: creativity, sustainability, innovation, environment, leadership, customer satisfaction, HR cultivation, and globalization. A total of 41 businesses and organizations received awards in the following 10 categories: customer satisfaction, globalization, leadership, brand, service, sustainability, true education, creative management, innovation, and environment.

The recipients were evaluated by the panel of judges from the industrial and academic fields. The evaluation criteria included the CEO’s leadership, the capability‧management support infrastructure, management, and expected effect. One of the judges said, “From this event, we can see the current management trend that puts importance on the managers’ versatile ability and the workers’ specialty to support them.”
