Visit of Japanese Investment-Related Organizations to DGFEZ

DGFEZ invited Japanese investment-related organizations such as JETRO SEOUL, CLAIR SEOUL, Samil Accounting Corporation, and Hanyoung Accounting Corporation to its business area for two days from February 9th to 10th.

This event is part of an investment attraction activity aimed at attracting overseas companies, and is designed to introduce the foreign investment environment of DGFEZ to Japanese attendees and guide them through the business zone, in order to increase understanding and interest in DGFEZ and strengthen investment-related networks.

On the first day, the visiting Japanese investment-related organizations listened to the status of cooperation between universities and companies at the Yeungjin University Meister Graduate School in Daegu. They then visited Daesung Hi-Tech, a precision machinery parts processing company located in Daegu Technopark, which has a high global export ratio. They had a direct question-and-answer session with the company's resident representatives regarding the company's status and the investment environment of DGFEZ.

On the second day, the Japanese delegation visited the Gyeongsan Knowledge Industry District and Pohang Fusion Tech District to inspect the sites where foreign-invested companies can settle, and toured facilities that support companies such as Pohang Knowledge Industry Center and Green Vaccine Verification Support Center.

In addition, on the 22nd, Oscar Tsuchiyoshi, the newly appointed Consul General of the Consulate-General of Japan in Busan, visited Choi Sam-yong, Director of Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone, to discuss expanding cooperative relations in areas such as culture and economic exchange.

Moreover, in March of last year, DGFEZ participated in INTERPHEX Week OSAKA 2023, the largest international exhibition for pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical raw materials in western Japan, and focused on promoting the investment environment of the Pohang Fusion Tech District, which completed construction at the end of last year.
