DGFEZ promotes domestic and foreign activities for promotion and investment attraction

Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone (DGFEZ) is making its every effort both in Korea and abroad to expand recognition of DGFEZ, and attract investment as well as support companies in the zone.

On October 16th (Sunday), 「 2022 Daegu with Art x DGFEZ」 an outdoor project was held at outdoor performance hall in Sanghwa Park at Suseong Pond in Daegu to approach the local residents more easily and in a friendly way. In this event, graffiti performance filling a huge drawing paper was performed along with soft jazz, melodies of Gayageum, sweet songs and performances that fills Suseong Pond in fall, which promoted images of Daegu, Gyeongbuk, a high-class city and DGFEZ where people enjoy various cultures and arts.

DGFEZ operated a promotion booths in 「2022 AIoT International Fair」held in Seoul COEX from 19th to 21st of October, 「2022 Daegu International Future Mobility Expo」held in Daegu Exco from 27th to 29th of October and 「The 20th World Hansang Competition」held in Ulsan Exhibition & Convention CEnter from 1st to 3rd of November. In these events, DGFEZ conducted promotional activities such as introduction of each districts and investment environments of DGFEZ, as well as making time for networking for business leaders and on-site meetings.

In addition, DGFEFZ participated in 「2022 Foreign Investment Week」held in Seoul with the host being the Ministry of Industry during 2nd and 3rd of November and 「MEDICA 2022」, a Medical Device Exhibition held in Dusseldorf, Germany for 4 days from 14th to 17th of November with other Free Economy Zone Authorities, conducting activities for attracting investment such as operating FEZ joint promotion booth and providing 1:1 consultation for leading companies.

Furthermore, DGFEZ supported the participation of companies currently inside of FEZ in Daegu in 「The 17th International Parts and Materials Industrial Show」and 「Japan Automotive World Nagoya 2022」so that they can pioneer and make new paths in domestic and foreign markets by exhibiting their main products, promoting their excellence, distributing promotion materials and having in-depth consultation. DGFEZ also held investment attraction briefing sessions for officials of related local organizations and companies in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Fukuoka, Japan to promote promising start-ups and to accelerate foreign investment attraction.
