- DGFEZ Tour of Invited Member Companies of China Chamber of Commerce in Korea - ◯ Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (hereinafter “DGFEZ”, In-Seon Lee, Commissioner) in partnership with the China Chamber of Commerce in Korea (hereinafter “CCCK”, Chairman Yang Shaojun) held DGFEZ investment briefing and tour for two days from October 31 in the DGFEZ main conference room with invited Chinese business people from Seoul, Busan, and Daegu.
 
◯ In this tour, which combined DGFEZ tour and cultural tour, the DGFEZ invited 13 people including Chairman Yang Shaojun of the CCCK, the officials of the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, and Chinese business people from Sinotrans, Air China, Agricultural Bank of China, and China Construction Bank. This is the first invited DGFEZ tour for Chinese business people in this year.
 
◯ On the first day, the participants had a meeting with Commissioner In-Seon Lee of the DGFEZ, and listened to a briefing on the investment environment. Then they visited the Gyeongsan Knowledge Industry District and the Suseong Medical District where they listened to presentations about the investment location and toured the Daegu Digital Industry Promotion Agency and the Wireless Power Transfer Technology Center. In the evening they enjoyed the night view of Donggung and Wolji in Gyeongju, a city that never sleeps. On the second day, the participants visited the 2019 Gyeongju World Culture Expo 2019 and finished the tour after a visit to the Pohang Fusion Tech District.
 
 
◯ Chairman Yang Shaojun of the CCCK said, “This invited tour was a meaningful event for us to see the solid industrial foundation and excellent investment environment of Daegu and Gyeongbuk at one glance. I hope the DGFEZ will be widely known to Chinese business people and stimulate Chinese investments in this region.”

◯ Commissioner In-Seon Lee said, “This event is a program created to introduce the excellent investment environment and settlement conditions to Chinese business people by combining a tour of the DGFEZ and the Gyeongju World Culture Expo and to attract their investments.” She added, “We expect that the tour of the DGFEZ by a corporate delegation composed of global leading companies will have a big synergy effect for the attraction of Chinese companies.”
