❍ In this briefing, hosted by KOTRA Guangzhou Trade Center, local governments, DGFEZ, and IK introduced in turn Korea's fourth industry and investment environment. In particular, this briefing session was held in conjunction with CIFIT, China's largest trade and investment event and participated by 40 promising investment companies, such as Xiamen Tungsten, a Chinese state-owned company, and Cleanergy, a solar structure installation specialist.

❍ DGFEZ is the only one of the seven Free Economic Zone Authorities in Korea to participate in the briefing to give an online presentation of local key industries, such as the investment environment of eight authorities, including the Gyeongsan Knowledge Industry District, and investment incentives and local key industries, such as medical new materials and biotechnology, and provided 1:1 business consultation.

❍ Sam Ryong Choi, Commissioner of DGFEZ, said, “In a situation where it has become difficult to attract domestic and foreign offline investment due to COVID-19, we have decided to actively promote non-face-to-face investment attraction activities by opening a business room exclusively for video conferencing,” adding, “with the participation in this online investment environment presentation, we will try to continuously manage foreign investors by introducing the excellent local investment environment to Chinese businessmen and by regularly promoting non-face-to-face investment promotion activities by region.”
