DGFEZ Held ‘2022 DGFEZ Scale-Up Seminar for Robotics‧ICT Enterprises’

DGFEZ held ‘2022 DGFEZ Scale-Up Seminar for Robot·ICT Enterprises’ on June 17 at 14:00, participated by about eighty persons from robot·ICT-related institutions and enterprises at Hotel Inter-Burgo DAEGU.
 
‘2022 DGFEZ Scale-Up Seminar for Robot·ICT Enterprises’ was held by DGFEZ Authority and co-hosted by five institutions which have been promoting FEZ innovation ecosystem development project including POHANG TECHNOPARK, Gyeongbuk Gyeongsan Institute of industry-university Convergence (GGIC), KMEDIhub, Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology (DGIST), and Gyeongbuk Research Institute of Vehicle Embedded Technology. The seminar was held to gather related institutions and enterprises, share new technologies, and support the growth of the enterprises by exchanging·cooperating with one another.
 
There was a session which included presentations about relevant topics and a special lecture by experts regarding various new technologies and trends in the robot‧ICT field.
▲(Topic presentation 1) What is necessary to spread articulated robots – ICT solution (Ahn Ki-tak, CEO of CDR System)
▲(Topic Presentation 2) Bionic Interface – from basic research to commercialization (Kim Ki-hoon, professor in mechanical engineering at POSTEC)
▲(Topic Presentation 3) Policy direction to foster robot industry in Daegu-Gyeongbuk region (Yoon Sang-hyeon, researcher from DAEGU GYEONGBUK INSTITUTE)
▲(Topic Presentation 4) Upcoming era of the big data and cloud (Moon Jeong-wook, from Naver Cloud)
▲(Special Lecture) Human Relationship in the era of robots (Professor Bae Young-ho from Department of IT Convergence at Uiduk University)

Furthermore, six institutions which have actively supported enterprises within each district of DGFEZ(POHANG TECHNOPARK, Gyeongbuk Gyeongsan Institute of industry-university Convergence (GGIC),KMEDIhub, Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology (DGIST), and Gyeongbuk Research Institute of Vehicle Embedded Technology, Daegu Digital Industry Promotion Agency (DIP)) and DGFEZ Authority signed an ‘MOU for supporting DGFEZ resident companies,’ and agreed to establish a close cooperative relationship to support innovation growth of the resident companies within DGFEZ.
