The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority(DGFEZ) invited the Singapore Chamber of Commerce in Korea(SingCham Korea), including Chairman Justin Yong, to the DGFEZ on Tuesday, April 7, to conduct a hands-on investment promotion IR.
 
This IR was organized to expand the attraction of Singaporean investment companies within the DGFEZ and was conducted as a hands-on program combining tours of key districts and visits to relevant organizations. The two organizations pledged to cooperate on exchanging investment information, facilitating personnel exchanges, and supporting event organization. In particular, the DGFEZ is planning an investment promotion IR for foreign economic associations in Korea in conjunction with FIX 2026, scheduled for this coming October, and SingCham Korea has agreed to actively cooperate with this initiative.
 
Sang-Ki Kang, Acting Commissioner of DGFEZ, stated, “The Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Korea serve as a bridge connecting DGFEZ with foreign companies,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen cooperation with chambers of commerce in key countries to strive for the expansion of foreign investment.”
