The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority(DGFEZ) announced that on March 12, it hosted an investment promotion briefing session for officials from the Japan External Trade Organization(JETRO) at the Pohang Fusion Tech District and Yeongcheon Hi-Tech Park.
 
This briefing was arranged to strengthen the cooperative foundation between the two organizations by introducing the competitiveness and infrastructure of DGFEZ's strategic industries—bio and future mobility—following the appointment of JETRO's new Seoul Office Director (Ando Masami), a trade and investment promotion agency under the Japanese government.
 
Sang-Ki Kang, Acting Commissioner of DGFEZ, stated, “We will further strengthen cooperation with major domestic and international organizations to attract foreign companies.” He also expressed, “We hope this visit will serve as an opportunity to expand industrial cooperation between Korea and Japan.”
