The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority(DGFEZ) held the “2025 Yeongcheon Industry District Innovation Ecosystem Council Meeting” on Friday, December 5th, at the Yeongcheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry's main conference room. The event brought together industry, academia, research institutes, and government agencies.
 

This event, now in its fourth year, was organized to explore new growth strategies for the regional industry and expand the foundation for inter-company cooperation.
 

Attendees included the Acting Commissioner of the Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority(DGFEZ), the Mayor of Yeongcheon, CEO of Hanjung NCS Co., Ltd., Chairman of the Yeongcheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Director of the Gyeongbuk Technopark Center, Director of the Gyeongbuk Automotive Embedded Research Institute, and Dean of the Korea Polytechnic University Robot Campus. Over 60 member companies of the Yeongcheon Industry District Tenant Companies Association also participated, fostering meaningful exchange of information.
 

The event proceeded in the following order: △ Presentations on current issues by major research institutions (Gyeongbuk Technopark, Polytechnic University Robot Campus, Gyeongbuk Automotive Embedded Research Institute) △ Sharing of difficulties faced by companies on the ground △ Discussion on measures to activate the innovation ecosystem. Collaboration between companies and customized support strategies were intensively shared, presenting practical directions for regional industrial development.
