The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority(DGFEZ) held a ‘Meeting with Related Organizations to Boost Investment Attraction for 2026’ at Hotel Interburgo Daegu on Thursday, December 4.
This event was organized to bring together relevant organizations involved in investment attractions in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions to explore strategies for 2026 and strengthen inter-agency cooperation. Approximately 30 participants attended, including government officials responsible for attracting businesses within the Free Economic Zone, representatives from KOTRA, Gyeongbuk Techno Park, the Gyeongbuk Economic Promotion Agency, and other major supporting institutions.
The meeting involved sharing the location advantages and current investment attraction status of the DGFEZ, along with introducing company support policies and projects being pursued by each institution which need collaboration. Based on this, participants discussed practical measures to invigorate investment attraction.
Won-Gyeong Lee, Acting Commissioner of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Economic Free Zone Authority(DGFEZ), stated, “Through this meeting, we expect the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Economic Free Zone Authority and related local organizations to work as one team to jointly explore measures to revitalize investment attraction for 2026 and make a substantive contribution to the innovative growth of the regional economy.”
