The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority(DGFEZ) announced that it is actively promoting the excellent investment environment and future growth vision of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone to domestic and international business leaders by operating a promotional pavilion at the ‘2025 APEC Economic Exhibition’ for a total of 13 days from October 20 to November 1.
 
The ‘2025 APEC Economic Exhibition’ is a special event held at Gyeongju Expo Grand Park Plaza, timed to coincide with the visit of economic leaders from various countries to Gyeongju for the ‘2025 APEC Summit’. The 2,693 sq m exhibition space comprises ▲ Korean Industrial History Pavilion ▲ Cutting-edge Future Industry Pavilion ▲ Regional Enterprise Pavilion and ▲ Cultural Experience Hall. It will begin full operation starting on the 27th, when the summit week commences.
 
DGFEZ has set up a promotional booth within the Cutting-edge Industry Vision Lounge of the Economic Exhibition Hall. It introduces the strengths of eight districts of DGFEZ, including the ‘Yeongcheon Hi-tech Park District’, a future automotive parts hub, and ‘Suseong Alpha City’, a digital innovation hub.
 
Notably, the DGFEZ pavilion adopts a station-themed space design under the theme ‘Platform for Business Success,’ capturing visitors' attention. It is also structured to vividly illustrate the vision of Daegu and Gyeongbuk growing into a hub for future advanced industries, centered on DGFEZ's three core strategic industries: ICT/Robotics, Medical/Bio, and Future Mobility.
 
Commissioner Kim Byeong-sam stated, “As the APEC Economic Exhibition is a global event where businesspeople, investors, and government officials from around the world gather, we will do our utmost to position the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone as the ultimate destination for global investment and establish it as the core driving force leading the economic growth of Daegu and Gyeongbuk.”
