The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority(DGFEZ) held an investment promotion seminar for Spanish IT companies at Hotel Interburgo EXCO on October 23 at 11:00 AM, jointly organized with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ESCCK).
 
The Daegu Investment Promotion Seminar for the Spanish IT Companies marked the first collaborative project between DGFEZ and ESCCK, with participation from five companies: four Spanish IT startups and one foreign-invested IT company based in the Seoul metropolitan area.
 
The seminar featured diverse programs including: ▲Introduction to the investment environment in Suseong Alpha City, ▲Presentation of a successful tenant company case, ▲Tour of the FIX 2025 exhibition, and ▲On-site tour of Suseong Alpha City. Participating companies showed high interest in Daegu's advanced industrial infrastructure and excellent business environment.
 
The event was part of efforts to further activate foreign investment in Suseong Alpha City. Spanish IT companies from diverse fields such as AI, software, web technology, office automation, and digital transformation(DX) participated to explore potential collaborations with Daegu-based companies.
 
Kim Byeong-sam, Commissioner of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority, stated, “Building on this collaborative project with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Korea, we will actively strive to continuously identify investment attraction cooperation projects with foreign chambers of commerce in Korea to further invigorate foreign investment in the DGFEZ.”
