DGFEZ held the "Yeongcheon Industry District Innovation Ecosystem Council Day" event at the Yeongcheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry on December 7, 2023.

Commissioner of DGFEZ, Mayor of Yeongcheon City, CEO of Hanjung NCS, president of Yeongcheon Chamber of Commerce, head of Gyeongbuk TechnoPark Corporate Support Team, head of the strategic planning team at Gyeongbuk Hybrid Technology Institute, head of Gyeongbuk Research Institute of Vehicle Embedded Technology, and head of the robot campus at Korea Polytechnic University, attended the event on behalf of eight organizations of the Innovation Ecosystem Council. About 50 people, including representatives of companies participating in the CEO Council of Yeongcheon Industry District Residents, attended to discuss ways to revitalize the district.

The Yeongcheon Industry District Innovation Ecosystem Council was established in 2021 to seek corporate growth and revitalize the local economy through mutual communication and convergence. After its establishment in 2022, the Innovation Ecosystem Council Day for Yeongcheon Industry District was held in the same year, and the second event was held the following year, 2023.

This event proceeded in the following order:
- Introduction of the AEO system and corporate export support program by Daegu Customs
- Presentation on major issues of research institutes
  (Gyeongbuk TechnoPark, Gyeongbuk Hybrid Technology Institute, Gyeongbuk Research Institute of Vehicle Embedded Technology)
- Announcement of the achievements of the Innovation Ecosystem in 2023
- Listening to difficulties of corporations and discussing ways to revitalize the innovation ecosystem.
