DGFEZ held the 2023 DGFEZ IR Bridge Ground on October 27 at Hotel Interburgo Daegu, attended by approximately 80 individuals, including corporate and venture capital officials.

The 2023 DGFEZ IR Bridge Ground consisted of an investment consultation meeting, IR presentation sessions, and a networking event, organized by DGFEZ to introduce companies and investors within the free economic zone and to promote core technologies. During the event, a total of nine companies seeking investment presented their technologies and ideas and connected with venture capital investors for potential investment opportunities.

A new drug development platform company located in Daegu Technopolis received 2 billion KRW in investment from venture capital firm. This funding was secured by actively promoting core technologies related to "Customized disease model creation and utilizing experimental data."

This year's event was held on a larger scale than the previous year, with the addition of a "startup competition." Notably, eight student startup teams participated in this competition, which was organized by POSTECH. It provided an opportunity to discover young entrepreneurs' startup ideas, potentially leading to real businesses. This initiative is expected to contribute to the growth of startup companies considering establishing themselves in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zones.
