DGFEZ joins the South Korea-China Future Automobile Forum 2021 in Beijing remotely to participate in the online investment promotion event and meetings from June 7 (Mon) to June 8 (Tue).
This year's forum is jointly organized by KOTRA and CHINA EV100(*) hosting more than 100 representatives from the future automobile-related organizations and companies in South Korea and China. The events of the first day of the event (June 7) includes the industrial forum where the participants are to share the current status of the future automobiles industry and the related policies, while the second day (June 8) will have one-on-one (1:1) investment meetings as well as the investment promotion event by the local government.

* EV100: A recyclable energy-based automobile association jointly established by experts in the automobile industries as well as the heads of government organizations in South Korea and China in 2014. Currently, the group has more than 200 reusable energy automobile-related companies in its membership, including LG, SK, and Samsung from South Korea. The organization's primary role is to serve as the think tank for the PRC government in the field of reusable energy automobiles.
 
DGFEZ introduced and promoted its free economic zones. One of them, 'Yeongcheon High-tech Park District,' was located in Yeongcheon, which was the hub city for the intelligent auto-parts industry, while the other, 'Pohang Fusion Tech District' was located in Pohang, which is the mecca of the new materials for secondary batteries. Especially, the presentation on the current status of the future automobiles and secondary batteries in the Daegu/Gyeongbuk region and the investment case of GEM, a PRC secondary battery industry leader that invested in Pohang, interested the PRC business community significantly.
During the one-on-one investment meetings that followed, they talked to the representatives from the Commerce Department of Tangshan, an investment fund that was affiliated to the city of Bejing, and six companies that are interested in investing, manufacturers of industrial wearable devices.
