DGFEZ held the "DGFEZ TOP Academy" at 14:00 on Mar. 3, 2021 to find ways to promote investment in the medical industry.

The DGFEZ TOP Academy is the meeting to invigorate investment to its districts, accompanying experts from each field of core strategic industries, such as Robot, ICT, Bio, and more.
This 'TOP Academy' is planned to be held continuously as a series, taking mentioned industry fields as a topic for each time.

The first TOP Academy was held under the theme "Medical Industry", focusing on establishing strategies to attract investment in the medical industry.
Dr. Byeong-Mun Song, the head of Advanced Medical Device Industrial Cluster Project at Gumi Electronics & Information Technology Research Institute(GERI), gave a special lecture on the development of the global medical industry, strengths, and weaknesses of Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, and strategies to attract investment into DGFEZ districts.
Following that, DGFEZ’s investment consultants provided professional advice to project managers of DGFEZ. Discussions on strategies to attract investment into the medical districts in DGFEZ were going on for long.

Commissioner Sam Ryong Choi said, "DGFEZ has a huge potential for growth. In 2021, DGFEZ will make Daegu-Gyeongbuk region a mecca for the medical industry."
